best search and destroy class is...
primary weapon - mp40 with silencer
secondary weapon - ptrs (sniper)
primary grenade - frag
secondary greande - smoke
perk 1 - bouncing betties/bomb squad (depends wether your attacking or defending)
perk 2 - overkill
perk 3 - second chance
this class lets you take out long targets with the sniper and medium targets with the mp40 and because there is no stopping power (makes it generally one shot kill) you can fire two quick sniper bullets at a target unlike with the springfield.
